1. Introduction
Welcome to Sharda Quiz. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”, or “TnC”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Rank Guard EdTech (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your access to and use of the Sharda Quiz mobile application (“App,” “Service”), available at shardaquiz.com and through various app stores.
By accessing or using our App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (available at https://shardaquiz.com/privacy-policy/). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the App.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- “App” or “Service” means the Sharda Quiz mobile application and all associated services, features, and content.
- “User” means any individual who accesses or uses the App.
- “Coins” means the virtual currency used within the App to access certain features and services.
- “Premium Subscription” means a paid subscription plan that provides access to enhanced features within the App.
- “Content” means all text, graphics, images, quizzes, questions, answers, and other materials available through the App.
- “User-Generated Content” means any content, including quizzes, created or uploaded by users through the App.
- “Third-Party Services” means external services, platforms, or APIs that the App integrates with or depends upon.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 10 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App.
- You will not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- You will not violate any rights of the Company or any third party.
If you are under 18 years old, you represent that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the App and that they have agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. User Eligibility and Age Requirements
The App is intended for users who are at least 10 years old. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts of users who do not meet the age requirement.
Users between the ages of 10 and 18 should use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
5. License to Use the App
5.1 Grant of License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to:
- Download, install, and use the App on your personal mobile device.
- Access and use the App’s features and services for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
5.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of the App or any part thereof.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App.
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with any other user’s use of the App.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or use the App.
- Share your account credentials with any third party or allow others to access your account.
6. Account Registration and Security
6.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You can create an account using:
- Google Sign-In
- Email and password
- Phone number with OTP verification
- Guest login (limited features)
6.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username, password, or authentication tokens).
- All activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not.
- Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
- Ensuring that you log out from your account at the end of each session when using a shared or public device.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.
6.3 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
7. User Obligations and Prohibited Activities
7.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the App:
- In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any “junk mail,” “chain letter,” “spam,” or any other similar solicitation.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Company, a Company employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
- To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the App.
7.2 Prohibited Activities
You are strictly prohibited from:
- Illegal or Unethical Activities: Engaging in any illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activities through or in connection with the App.
- Hacking and Reverse Engineering: Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App or any of its components.
- Multiple Accounts: Creating duplicate accounts or multiple accounts to exploit bonuses, promotions, or system limitations.
- Spam and Abuse: Spamming or abusing the AI assistant or any other features of the App, including:
- Sending repetitive, automated, or malicious queries.
- Attempting to overload or disrupt the App’s servers or services.
- Using the App in a manner that could harm, disable, or impair the App or interfere with other users’ access.
- Content Violations: Uploading, sharing, or creating content that:
- Violates any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or harmful.
- Contains viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Is intended to deceive or mislead users.
- Cheating in Examinations: Using the App or AI assistant to cheat in any actual examination, test, or assessment. Users are advised not to use our platform or AI integration for cheating purposes. If users are found engaging in such activities, we will not be responsible, and any consequences will be faced by the user themselves.
7.3 Fair Use
While there are no specific usage limitations for Coin-based features, we expect users to use the App in a fair and reasonable manner. Excessive or abusive usage may result in account suspension or termination. For Premium Subscriptions, usage limits apply as specified in Section 9.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Company Ownership
The App, including its original content, features, functionality, design, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by Rank Guard EdTech and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App and its content remain the exclusive property of Rank Guard EdTech and its licensors.
8.2 User-Generated Content Ownership
Unshared Quizzes: Quizzes and content that you create through the App and do not share remain your property. You retain all rights to such content.
Shared Quizzes: When you choose to share a quiz or other content on our platform:
- You grant Rank Guard EdTech a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform such content in connection with the App and our business.
- Your shared content becomes publicly available on the App and can be accessed by all registered users.
- You cannot revoke the sharing consent or remove shared content once it has been shared.
- Other users may access and use your shared quizzes without prior notice to you.
User Responsibility: You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and share any content you upload or create.
- Your content does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to use any copyrighted content you upload for quiz generation purposes.
8.3 Third-Party Content
The App may contain content from third parties, including links to third-party websites. We do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for any third-party content. Your use of third-party content is at your own risk.
9. Premium Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
9.1 Premium Subscriptions
We offer Premium Subscription plans that provide enhanced features and benefits. Subscription details, including pricing, features, and availability, are displayed within the App and on our website.
Subscription Features and Limits:
- Subscriptions allow you to generate up to 30 quizzes per day.
- Subscriptions allow up to 100 OCR (Optical Character Recognition) operations per day.
- Subscriptions allow up to 30 YouTube video quiz generations per day.
- Other features and services are not subject to daily limits.
Payment Processing: Premium Subscriptions are processed through CashFree Payment Gateway, which supports all major payment methods including Credit/Debit cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets, and other payment methods as available.
9.2 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled or disabled.
- We will send you both email and in-app notifications 7 days before your subscription is set to renew.
- You can disable auto-renewal, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through the App’s settings screen.
9.3 Coins (Virtual Currency)
Purchase: Coins can be purchased through Google Play In-App Purchases. The available purchase options and pricing are displayed within the App.
Usage: Coins are required to access certain features of the App, including:
- Quiz generation from various sources (text, images, documents, YouTube videos).
- AI assistant queries and problem-solving services.
- OCR operations and document processing.
Non-Transferable: Coins are non-transferable and cannot be transferred between accounts or to other users.
Non-Refundable: All Coin purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as specifically stated in these Terms.
Expiration: Purchased Coins do not expire, but they may be forfeited upon account termination or deletion as specified in Section 13.
9.4 Payment Terms
- All prices are displayed in your local currency (where available) or as specified within the App.
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change without notice.
- Payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
- You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees that may apply to your purchases.
9.5 Refund Policy
Coins Purchases: Coin purchases are non-refundable. Once purchased, Coins cannot be refunded unless required by applicable law.
Premium Subscriptions: Refunds for Premium Subscriptions may be requested under the following conditions:
- You can request a refund for an unintended subscription purchase by emailing [email protected] with your refund request and explanation.
- Refunds will only be processed if no features of the subscription have been used. “No features used” means:
- No quiz generation was processed through your account.
- No AI queries or interactions were made.
- No other subscription-based features were accessed.
- We will process refund requests as quickly as possible; however, our payment partner may take up to 7 business days to process the refund to your original payment method.
- Refund decisions are at our sole discretion and are final.
10. Service Availability and Disclaimers
10.1 Service Availability
- We strive to keep the App available and accessible, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
- We do not provide any uptime guarantee or Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- The App may be unavailable due to:
- Planned maintenance (we will provide at least 12 hours advance notice through in-app notifications).
- Unplanned maintenance or technical issues (no advance notice will be provided).
- Force majeure events beyond our control.
- We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from service interruptions, unavailability, or technical failures.
10.2 Third-Party Services
The App relies on various third-party services for authentication, data storage, AI processing, document processing, and other functionalities. These services are provided by independent third parties and are not under our direct control.
- We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or accuracy of third-party services.
- Service interruptions, errors, or limitations in third-party services may affect the App’s functionality.
- We disclaim all liability for any issues arising from third-party service failures or limitations.

10.3 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Accuracy and Quality:
- All content generated through our platform, including quizzes and AI responses, is generated using artificial intelligence and automated systems.
- While we strive to provide accurate and high-quality content, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or quality of any AI-generated content.
- AI-generated quizzes, answers, explanations, and other content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or may not be suitable for your specific needs.
- Users are advised to verify and double-check all AI-generated content before relying on it for educational or exam preparation purposes.
No Success Guarantee:
- We do not guarantee that using our App will result in success in any examination, test, or assessment.
- While we do our best to provide content that can benefit users in their exam preparation, individual results may vary.
- The App is provided for educational purposes only and should be used as a supplementary learning tool.
AI Content Control:
- We do not have direct control over the AI-generated content produced by third-party AI services.
- The accuracy, tone, and content of AI responses depend on the AI models and services we integrate with.
- We are not responsible for the specific output, accuracy, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
10.4 Quiz Generation Disclaimer
- Quiz generation may fail due to various factors, including:
- Technical issues or service interruptions.
- Limitations in source content quality or format.
- Third-party service limitations or errors.
- Network connectivity issues.
- We do not guarantee that quiz generation will always be successful or produce the desired results.
- We are not liable for any consequences arising from quiz generation failures or unsatisfactory quiz quality.
10.5 Educational Purpose Only
The App is intended for educational purposes only. You agree to use the App solely for learning, practice, and exam preparation purposes. The App should not be used:
- To cheat in any actual examination, test, or assessment.
- For any commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
- In any manner that violates academic integrity policies or examination rules.
11. Data and Privacy
11.1 Privacy Policy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available at https://shardaquiz.com/privacy-policy/. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
11.2 Data Backup
- You are responsible for backing up your data, including quizzes, chat history, and other content, using the built-in backup manager feature.
- We will do our best to securely store your data, but we are not liable for any data loss that may occur due to:
- Service interruptions or technical failures.
- Account deletion or termination.
- User error or failure to back up data.
- Third-party service failures.
11.3 Data Loss
We are not liable for any loss of data, including but not limited to:
- Quiz results and history.
- Chat history and AI conversations.
- Saved preferences and settings.
- Any other user-generated content.
12. Coins Loss and Liability
12.1 Liability for the Coins Loss
We take responsibility for the loss of Coins that occurs due to:
- Technical errors or bugs in the App.
- Server-side issues or data synchronization problems.
- Errors in our payment processing systems.
In such cases, we will restore or replace the lost Coins to your account. To request restoration of lost Coins, please contact us at [email protected] with details of the loss.
12.2 Limitations
We are not liable for Coins loss that occurs due to:
- User error or accidental actions.
- Account suspension or termination due to Terms violations.
- Fraudulent activity or unauthorized account access.
- Third-party payment processor errors (in cases where the purchase was not completed).
13. Account Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
13.1 Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend your account if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in prohibited activities.
Suspension Process:
- Your account will be placed in a suspension state for 7 days.
- During suspension, you will not be able to access most App features.
- We will issue a warning notification after the suspension begins, explaining the reason for suspension.
- You can reactivate your account at any time during or after the 7-day suspension period by simply logging in again.
Grounds for Suspension:
- Violations of these Terms.
- Illegal or unethical activities.
- Spam or abuse of App features.
- Other activities that we determine warrant suspension.
13.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to permanently terminate your account in cases of severe violations or illegal activities.
Termination Process:
- Termination is permanent and irreversible.
- No warning will be issued before termination.
- Once terminated, you will not be able to:
- Restore your account.
- Create a new account using the same device or credentials.
- Access any data, Coins, or subscriptions associated with your terminated account.
Grounds for Termination:
- Severe violations of these Terms.
- Illegal activities.
- Fraudulent behavior.
- Repeated violations after suspension.
- Any activity that we determine warrants permanent termination.
13.3 Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account at any time through the App’s settings.
Deletion Process:
- Account deletion requests initiate a 7-day grace period.
- During the grace period, you can cancel the deletion request and restore your account.
- After 7 days, the deletion process begins, and your account and associated data will be permanently deleted.
What Gets Deleted:
- All user profile information and account data.
- All Coin balances.
- All subscription access and benefits.
- All quizzes, chat history, and user-generated content.
- All preferences, settings, and app data.
What Is Retained:
- Payment transaction records (for accounting and legal compliance purposes only).
- No actual subscriptions, Coins, or content will be retained or accessible.
After Deletion:
- You will not be able to access your account or any associated data.
- You cannot request restoration of deleted accounts or data.
- You may create a new account, but it will be treated as a completely new account with no connection to your previous account.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1 General Limitation
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RANK GUARD EDTECH AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
- ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE.
- ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
- ANY ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR OMISSIONS IN THE APP’S CONTENT.
- ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, TECHNICAL FAILURES, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE ISSUES.
14.2 Specific Disclaimers
Content Accuracy: We do not take responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any content generated through our platform, including:
- AI-generated responses and explanations.
- Quiz questions and answers.
- Educational content and recommendations.
You are advised to verify all information independently and use the App as a supplementary learning tool.
Examination Results: We do not guarantee that using the App will result in success in any examination, test, or assessment. Individual results may vary.
Third-Party Services: We are not liable for any issues, errors, or failures arising from third-party services that the App depends on.
Data Loss: We are not liable for any loss of data, including quizzes, chat history, or other user-generated content, except as specified in Section 12 regarding Coins restoration.
14.3 Maximum Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR $100 (USD), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rank Guard EdTech and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Your use of or access to the App.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party right, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the App.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve any disputes through direct communication.
16.2 Arbitration
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree that any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the App, or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
Arbitration Process:
- Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015 (India) or any subsequent amendments.
- The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement or, if no agreement can be reached, by an arbitration institution designated by us.
- The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
- The language of arbitration shall be English.
Arbitration Decision:
- The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding on both parties.
- Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
16.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
The following disputes are not subject to arbitration:
- Disputes related to intellectual property rights (which may be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction).
- Disputes seeking injunctive or equitable relief.
- Small claims court actions (if applicable in your jurisdiction).
16.4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For any disputes not subject to arbitration, or for matters related to intellectual property or equitable relief, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
17. Changes to Terms and Conditions
17.1 Right to Modify
We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 15 days advance notice of any material changes by:
- Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
- Posting the updated Terms on our website at shardaquiz.com.
17.2 Acceptance of Changes
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.
17.3 Material Changes
Material changes to these Terms may include, but are not limited to:
- Changes to payment terms or pricing.
- Changes to user rights or obligations.
- Changes to dispute resolution procedures.
- Changes to account termination or deletion policies.
18. Beta Features and Experimental Features
If we release any features marked as “Beta” or “Experimental”:
- These features may be subject to different terms and conditions.
- We are not bound by the above Terms and Conditions for anything related to Beta or Experimental features.
- Beta features may be unstable, incomplete, or removed without notice.
- Use of Beta features is at your own risk.
19. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, acts of God, or extreme weather conditions.
- War, terrorism, riots, civil unrest, or other hostilities.
- Government actions, regulations, or restrictions.
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies.
- Internet or telecommunications failures or disruptions.
- Third-party service failures or disruptions.
- Labor strikes, shortages, or disputes.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid, legal, and enforceable provision that comes closest to the intent of the original provision.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (available at https://shardaquiz.com/privacy-policy/), constitute the entire agreement between you and Rank Guard EdTech regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written, between you and Rank Guard EdTech.
22. Waiver
No failure or delay by Rank Guard EdTech in exercising any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right, power, or remedy. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Rank Guard EdTech.
23. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder to any third party, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

BY USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
- You have read these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
- You understand and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions stated herein.
- You have reviewed and agree to our Privacy Policy.
- You understand that your use of the App is at your own risk.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 1st December 2025 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in their provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on our website with 15 days advance notice.
